Why must the user have a general knowledge of the layout of the truss?

It is essential that the user know the layout of the truss because simply inputting a series of coordinates is meaningless if the program can't
derive which vertices are connected to one another.  This is especially true for large trusses, with many members.  The user must know
which members connect with which vertices, since the program can not tell which ones are connected.
