Thermodynamics of solids:
I have a general interest in the application of continuum thermodynamic for the study of the behavior of solids. In this relation I have worked on the thermodynamics of phase transition in polymer crystallization, and on the glass transition which occurs between rubbery and glassy states of a polymer. I also have looked at internal material constraints and how to deal with such constraints in theories of plasticity.
